Artist Reply: thank you my new friend I painted this oil when I was in Cuba 12 years ago. That represent the african influences in my life with name of "Francisco", with my self-portrait like a cuban farmer " campesina cubana" with a landscape named Los Mogotes de Vinales" as a backgraond. I used to paint with that dress and I also have to name the influences of the art of Frida Khalo, in this period of my life I produced many self-portraits. I hope you enjoy the oil. sincerely Sheila
