Sketches from High School

An old sketchbook from the late 50's to early 60's , all faded and worn... show that I have always loved to draw. From the time I could first hold a pencil I drew... I drew on napkins, bags, scratch paper, school paper... anything that I could find. I often drew people, children, women, loved to do fashion design , animals or cartoons. My friends loved to have me draw portraits of them. I also liked to use pen and ink and especially loved to paint buildings and landscapes, although I have not found any of those works to display here. I drew everyday. It eased my mind if I was troubled or sad. I did this sketch when I was approx. 13 or 14 yrs. old.

NICE MEMORY. THE WRITING SHOULD ALSO BE FADED WITHOUT THE WORDS "SOME EARLY ROUGH WORK". I WOULD ALSO CHANGE "I ALWAYS LOVED TO DRAW" TO "I LOVE TO DRAW", SIGNED UNDER IT AS YOU SIGN YOUR WORK TODAY.
