was going to do a complete colour work on this image and then decided i preferred it with just the eyes done. more impact i think.original is approx. 4"x6"

What was your medium for this pic??? Good job, too!

Artist Reply: hi jonathan, thanks for your comment. i'm going to assume you're not familiar with scratchboard. it's a board that's coated in clay which you then put a coat of india ink over and then scratch back out with exacto blades, pins, steelwool etc. there's an average of 500 to 1000 scratches per square inch depending on the amount of detail you want. hope that helps.
