This is a banyan tree on the Edison and Ford winter estate in Fort Myers, FL. It's the first one I ever saw. The banyan is an Indian fig tree whose branches produce aerial roots that later become accessory trunks. I was impressed with the size and sculpted beauty of this tree. I enhanced the light and shadows in PhotoShop to explore its mysterious and potentially haunted side.
