This is an HDR image from a Camera Raw photograph taken from my kitchen window about an hour before this posting. We are having one of the worst weather fronts in years. The last I remember this much rain for so long a period (four days of continuous heavy rain) was around 1972. The image has all the elements of mood that a romantic rain scene should have; great romantic weather, great interior lighting and the cold blue light of fading winter day. The scene was photographed from the same spot as another posting Kitchen Window Sunset with my new Canon T2i DSLR set on Aperture Priority mode. I'd like to capture a few more images on this theme. Hopefully my neighbor will have his Christmas lights on. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone.
