A very introspective piece, Dina. The beauty of the past was it's relative simplicity. Sitting on that hard crystalline formation must be, after a time, quite painful, eh? ;) It almost seems as though that formation is closing bit by bit and soon the beautiful memory of the past will be totally obscured.
