Beaverton Snowdrift

This Watercolor landscape was discovered on a winter drive in 1993, and when I saw it I knew I just had to paint it. It was a clean, simple, crisp, inviting quiet spot with evidence of a recent winter visitor. A place where the snow was spotless and it reminded me of the Psalmist's prayer, "Create in me a clean heart, O God." Ps. 51:10 For more, please visit us at www.hislambsonline.org May that become our prayer as well.

lovely work, the tree is so well done.

Artist Reply: Thanks so much Ruth for your kind words. It was a delight to paint. I just happened to be searching through my art case and re-discovered it, and I just had to share it. This spot has been completely taken over by a huge farming facility, much like the Holland Landing and so I was extra happy I had captured this place when it was so lovely and pristine.
