HMS Bazeley

The painting depicts HMS Bazeley of the Royal Navy in World War II attack a German U-boat. It`s completed on 1200mm x 500mm stretched canvas in oils. It`s the longer and largest painting I have done to date, great fun.

My father Denys Graham served on HMS Bazeley - he spoke little of it other than being in Naples for a time.

My father, William Halliwell, now 89, also served on HMS Bazeley is a member of the Captain Class Association. Are copies or prints of this painting available?

Artist Reply: Hi there...I sadly haven`t put any of my artwork into print. I would however consider doing a commission for you of this painting if that would suit you? If you send me an email to [email protected] I`d gladly discuss.

My Father served on this ship. When he was 80 he went to Boston to see where the Lend/Lease was built. He is now 87 and a member of both the Captain Class Association and the Russian Convoy Club.

Artist Reply: This was for a friend of mine, his grandfather served on her during W.W. II in the atlantic. I`d be very interested in any feedback your father could give on the painting.
