Today I joined a group of birders and photographers at a egret and heron rookery. It is surrounded by the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center campus in the middle of Dallas. This amazing rookery is inhabited by great white egrets, tri-colored herons, black-crowned herons, anhingas, cattle egrets, snowy egrets and more.
