Buzzards are an important part of any healthy eco-system. This one posed for me at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge on the south end of Lake Texoma, Sherman, Texas.

I have seen a lot of these in my area, but they are always in flight. Nice shot...shows why they are called "turkey" vultures.
