Hawaiian Volcano Fairy was a custom painting commissioned by my customer Doris - who loves Hawaii! She's a little tiki hula girl fairy, with a smoldering volcano in the background, a lei around her neck, hibiscus flowers in her hair, and a grass skirt. Her wings are inspired by the Western Pygmy Blue butterfly - a native butterfly to Hawaii! Being a tropical & tiki fan myself, this was fun.
