Nymphs Collecting Berries! I painted this piece after returning from an artist retreat in France. The landscape is based on that surrounding the Alphonse de Lamartine estate - beautiful countryside! These three bewitching nymphs are berry collecting, but there is kind of an ominous feeling to this piece (notably the approaching storm!).
