Priestess of Quetzalcoatl

Priestess of Quetzalcoatl - I painted this after visiting Mayan and Aztec ruins down in Mexico. I love Meso-American history, culture, and their mythology. Here I have shown Quetzalcoatl as the feathered serpent, with a beautiful priestess. In the back you can see a carved Aztec or Mayan Calendar. My own original acrylic painting. ©Jasmine Becket-Griffith - prints are available at http://www.strangeling.com and http://zazzle.com/strangeling*
