Fruit & Silver

This is my first attempt with CP's, I usually work in pastel. I must apologise for the photo the black paper has a sheen and it shows up, even without a flash, giving a lighter tint to the top of the painting. I found it very interesting working in Coloured Pencils as opposed to pastels and very much enjoyed the experience. I like working on black paper and found that I had to be quite firm with the application of colour. Surprisingly, to me, I found I was able to blend to some extent. I think I will be working in CP quite a bit more. Prismacolor Pencils on acid free black paper 'Beautiful Colour' from China, 8" x 11"

Beautiful piece of work John. The silver in particular is excellent.

I think this is an excellent work, John, well-balanced.
