Puppet On a Swing ( 1981 )

From my history chapter.
When I was 15 years old ( 1979 ), I started all by myself an hobby of making hand-made fabric dolls... It was totally self taught hobby. During that time, we had no art / craft classes at school.. and so, i had the need to create dolls. This hobby of mine started after, my visits at a most wonderful shop, first of it's kind in our area, ( late 70's) - " Paper house ".
I invented by myself several kinds of dolls, and used to instruct my friends to so also.
This doll in the photos was done in 1981. It was hanged above my desk, for several years, I loved it, and was very proud of it.. No girl I knew did such doll... Later was given to my cousin, Merav.

Photos taken in 1985. ( not where it used to be hanged originally)
To be continued , next image.

That is so da_ _ creative girl......You are something else...... It's like you were creating since early youth........Love IT !

Artist Reply: Hi there Thomi'le.. Now you'll have to explain the 2 _ _.. fill in the spaces/ blanks for me, please :-) I was creating since early age indeed... At that time of my life, I also made a rule to myself, that I must first finish each work, I start and then can start a new one. I made many dolls.. gave some to best girlfriends, as presents... In fact.. it was a GREAT NEED of mine.. I was sitting all by myself in my room hours to create it, between my other responsibilities of a pupil in high school, and my musical responsibilities as well... Even during my military service, I used to take materials and make small dolls, whenever I could. The paradox is that in elementary school, when we had craft hand made lessons.. I didn't enjoy at all... And my talent was not at all seen.. But by myself - MY OWN PROJECTS.. I simply bloomed... :-) Thanks for visiting. Shalom.
