Saxes Sketches

From my History Chapter.
2 drawings of Saxophones, that i made in approximate 1985/6.
These drawings are part of series of drawings ( using different techniques), that I made in order to build the composition of a design for fabric.

What a unique idea. Leave it to Nira to be so original. Wonderful concept!!! Beautifully drawn.. Excellent detail!!!

Artist Reply: LouAnn.. Since I can remember myself, I always aimed to express myself in original way... as if tried to do something i've never seen before. As almost I finished my studies back then in 1987, one of the teachers, I appreciate THE BEST.. just before he left the college said to us: All has already been done, in design.. don't try to invent anything new.. Just do it., and do it correct. For me it sounded so strange, back then.. But it is a fact, that many times, I think i'm original, and find after some time, someone also did something similar. And I think he meant also to the fact sometimes, artists are trying (so much) to do something, SO unique, but can entangled the work, to different complicated directions. Thanks so much, my friend!
