STUNNING, BRUCE. LOOKS LIKE A ROSE IN THE MIDDLE.

Artist Reply: Thank you for kindly posting your "Rose" interpretation to share with all of us, Sharon. That is certainly as sensible as any I've heard, and I appreciate very much your thinking about what you see there, and what occurs to you -- what it suggests -- and what you imagine. Afterall, isn't that one of the main things that viewing art is about? Peace, etc., Bruce

what are you painting this ON? It doesn't look like canvas. I am hunting for copper for you, you would love it!!! nice dimension to this, Bruce!

Artist Reply: Thanks almost a million, Jerry. I painted it on very smooth cardboard such as what might surround some appliance you would buy, say, an electric Menora, or some other amazing and invaluable technological advance to ease and improve our family's lives and togetherness and self-esteem and pride and hope for social esteem, too, just for the now-needless effort and house-fire elimination (unfortunate word choice there I know, but I could think of no other, so I'll just stand here upon it!) as well as avoidance of burnt fingers, and arguments about who gets to ignite the candle and temptation to young children to disrespectifully play with the flames, etc. And soon, I trust, there will be ecological, energy-saving little kosher light bulbs (about the size and appearance of Christmas-tree lights). They are nifty to put in a window -- more pride "sharing"; maybe you will want 2 or more (please send me the boxes to paint on! But only if that is not sacriledge, of course -- I don't mean the mailing or the act of it but the painting upon them, especially of abstract art! We must be thankful for this as well as the many other modern improvements in our lives! Why, just the other day I bought some artificial sunflowers to grace our dining table, especially with company, although they were not made in Holland, although the electric menorahs are made by the Dutch company, Phillips, here in the USA! So, Jerry, I need to hurry out to the store now. I hope that this answers your question adequately and sufficiently beyond any doubts. Peace, etc., Bruce. PS! Oh, yeah! Thanks for looking for copper for me. Please send it by "over-night" post so it will get here quicker!

Truly gorgeous!!!

Artist Reply: Dear Emily, I really appreciate your enthusiastic response to my painting, especially with the beautiful gorgeous works that you create with your amazing photographs. You well arranged galleries are such a joy to wander leisurely through, and doing so is such a restful, and reassuring, and renewing experience! Thank you so much. Peace, etc., Bruce

The figure with the sword reminds me of the dark riders in The Lord of the Rings. The beautiful pink is like floating energy all over the painting and is a great daring colour match with the red. Another jewel in your gallery, dear Bruce!
