Cotton used to be an important crop in the blackland prairie region of Texas. Now, it's a rare enough sight to call for a quick exit and shooting session. Found by I-45, just south of Ferris.

Sort of pretty! I forgot how high the percentage of cotton imports is. Less than 5% of cotton T-Shirts are made in the United States.

STUNNING SHOTS, BRENDA. ESPECIALLY THE TOP ONE. ARKANSAS IN THE DELTA STILL HAS COTTON GROWING AND AFTER IT IS HARVESTED THE WHITE STUFF IS EVERY WHERE. :)
