Paint on copper is alive! has a will of its own and becomes what it wants to be. The whole process is a birth. Painting on canvas is extended labor, grueling, tedious and the artist has to do the whole darn thing! Well, I have begun: real canvas and 'real' acrylic paint! We'll see what happens!

Jerry, I always tell people who think that painters are a rare species, if you would put as much energy in it as I do, you could make my paintings too! :)) And after years this is still true for me. I wish I had your speed of creation! It's incredible how fast you go! It's obviously an outburst of talent!

Artist Reply: Well, Anneke, I think you are absolutely right! It shows a belief in humanity (and I am some times in doubt) that if someone has the will, creates the time, developes the discipline. and has a focus they can pretty much do anything. They can but they won't. and I am a pretty good cook, too!
