Christopher Wren designed the Wren Building at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA after his Maritime Museum building in London. My daughter did her undergraduate work at the College of William & Mary. It was so great to see the Wren Building there and then this in London. And if my memory is correct, I am standing where the Greenwich Meridian is to take this photo. Hope that you enjoy!

This is really a massive memorial and what better look then to have a storm brewing overhead. This is cassic sight to a sailor and it just makes the building appear more at home.John Cappello 10 Aug 2009

Wow what memories! My Great great Grandfather was in charge of this Building in the late1790's-it was then a Hospital for sailors wounded in the Napoleonic Wars-Just about the time the new USA was finding it's feet! Check ou WILLIAM LOCKER-I look like him-and he loved Art!It carries on down the genes! Greenwich is my favourite part of London-i love the place to bits! Miles XXXJulie Mayser 10 Aug 2009
