Tracy got her Doctorate here

Royal Albert Hall London, England is where my daughter, Tracy Glassburn-Slusarewicz, received her Doctorate in Geology from Imperial College and from The University of London. Actually you can see some graduates in the shadow on the left in this photo. And I had an awesome seat in the box right under the Queen’s box. Since then Tracy has become Who’s Who in Science & Engineering, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Women. She has discovered something, invented something, and created something. Yes I am a Very Proud Mother! :) Also my son in-law, Paul Slusarewicz received his Doctorate in Biochemistry here. Hope that you enjoy!

I am sure you took photos of Tracy on that momentous day as well! How wonderful that you have such an intelligent and accomplished daughter!

Artist Reply: Thank you Julie, I planned to just post "Royal Albert Hall" and then thought telling the reason for the photo much more interesting. The photos I took of Tracy receiving her doctorate, only I know is her. It was from a long distance away, and the place was dark except the stage where Tracy, etc. were. I also considered posting one, but decided too not good. My camera apparently did not have a zoom lens, or if it did, it did not zoom very much. And yes, I do have some photos somewhere in some album (probably in Florida) of Tracy outside with Royal Albert Hall in back of her. She was also very beautiful. Love, Sharon

That is wonderful. The art classes I took at the Royal Collage of Art in '86 were in walking distance of the picture. Our final art show was held across the street at the Thomas Moore Gallery. My camera gave out on the last few days and very few of my picture are any good. I am sure that you are very proud of your daughter as you should be! Like mother like daughter. Very nice shot and brought back memories

Sharon, Tracy's accomplishments don't surprize me at all. I suspect she grew up curious, with an open heart and mind.
