limestone pool

photo taken on valley trail @ lost river cave, near bowling green kentucky. the limestone (a type of rock) is what causes the pool to have the bluish color you see and the water is very clear.

You know what a limestone pool is, but we might not! a description is very important! nice photo even though I don't understand it!

Artist Reply: thanks for the compliment! i'll try to give better descriptions they are called limestone pools because of the particular type of rock in this case it's limestone which is what gives the water the blue color it has. i hope this helps again i'm sorry. have a great day!
