I love this ! Exceptionally Beautiful presentation and a Grand original creation ! Great combination of Colors and Textures !

Artist Reply: What a nice comment, John. I appreciate how you mention details rather than just flipping off a gushy word or two. I've noticed this trait of objectivity under your comments on other people's paintings, too. Keep it up, and your own fine work as well, Peace, etc., Bruce

Bruce I find this fascinating, although for the life in me I cannot find the eagle that caught Anneke's eye! I do, however, see the yellow road that leads to the maiden, but it is strewn with obstacles to overcome! and, I love the colors and their placement!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Jerry, as I was telling John while you were typing your comment, for dealing with so much of the detail in the painting. And, of course, for your enthusiastic encouragement. Happy New Year's presents for me! From you two guys, and my best wishes to you and everybody. Peace, etc., Bruce

You are really great in creating art that has a lot to tell . Everyone can see in this painting what he wants to see, what is most appealing to him. You draw the viewer into your composition through beautiful lines and colours. I see an eagle flying over a landscape with a glorious sunset, also a lady wearing a veil, it looks like the eagle is searching for her. But that's only my interpretation and my imagination is quite limited. It's a wonderful piece to look at, it must look great in real!

Artist Reply: Hi, Anneke! You really needn't discount yourself at the end of your comment after you have just analyzed it so well, and stressed that it is your interpretation dear modest Anneke. Anyway, it is so nice to have you come along and say encouraging things. I DID hope to create a piece that would offer lots of possibilities, but that's a real danger, of course: trying to please everybody to often ends of pleasing nobody, and\or just extremely bland. So thank you again for giving all of us something to think about and to argue with you some place or another. Peace, etc., Bruce
Artist Reply: Coming back now, I want to add that I love this painting for its colors and imaginative stimulation -- maybe that should be "stimulation of the imagination!" But nobody else seems to. Woops, foot in mouth or someplace with every sentence! Hows about I say that perceptive Anneke Hut is the only imaginative viewer. Oh, but then I have insulted all the other viewers unintentionally when I only intended to praise Ms. Hut. I'd just better shut up, after saying that I love all of you -- oh, dear, Anneke forgive me, but I meant that I love each and everyone of all the ArtWanted artist/viewers! Peace, etc. Bruce
