MARSHLAND NYMPH

NYMPHS are mysterious, mystical beings. Their lives are long, they are one with the earth, nymphs were made from it and they shall return to it at the end of the time ! This one I started with watercolour pencil on paper(42 cm / 60 cm ) and finished it with gouache. Many thanks for stopping by !

i like to think that nymphs can also be called bruxas.....i learned thru the experience of brasil and other places in south america thru portugese and spanish that bruxas were white witch female shamans that carried positive powers to help family friends and all....a sacred non selfesh committment to assisting all, beautiful portrait here, gallo
