My Collection of Flutes - 1985

When I stopped play music, I started to paint it...

Treasure from my history chapter. Part of the musical instrument series, in watercolour . 50CM X 35 CM.
This was my flutes collection, it was part of my room, at the time, I lived at my parents home. Most of these were given to me by my father.

life is a concert and here is one waiting to happen

This has the quality of an illustration. There is a story behind each and every instrument. Somehow you capture a hint of the music, even though the flutes stand unused.

Artist Reply: Thanks so much, David. Perhaps very few from this collection are still with me somewhere. Indeed each has the story behind. And when I look at it.. i reminded of times pass by. Perhaps the composition, implies of music.. Have a creative wonderful day, NIRA.
