The Periwig

My impression of the Crown Hotel and a pub intriguingly named “The Periwig”. This was the name for those long curly wigs worn in France and England during the Middle Ages. Remember the Roundheads and Cavaliers, so why name a pub after a wig?. Never mind the ale is still good.
