The way you've pictured such bright back lighting while preserving the shadow detail is amazing. Even the grass works hard to carry this image. Very well done.

Artist Reply: Hi Mike! Thank you so much again for your inspirational comments.This one was tough because the sun was in and out behind the fleeting clouds. I must have stood there for 20/30 minutes to get the right light! But the birdsong kept me entertained... there was a reed bed right behind me and there must have been half-a-dozen Reed Warblers clinging to the reeds, singing their hearts out. It's what I love about outdoor photography... It's not just about the shot, it's about the experience you get from getting the shot. So, whenever I look at this picture and I hear the Reed Warblers.
