Grandpa's Cottage

This painting measures 11" x 14" and is oil on canvas. My Grandpa, Arthur Peltier, actually built the cottage. Every year our family traveled 5 hours by car for our week "Up North". It was our favorite family vacation riding in the station wagon and eating penny candy on the way. When we finally got there we'd run down the hill and onto the pier to see the lake. There was no TV (although we always rented one) and lots of mosquitos. This is where I began oils - paint by number on the front screened porch.
