Enclosure

Functional art. I had an assignment, this enclosure was to accomplish several things: keep the deer out of an area for roses, grapes and raspberries, be strong without emphasizing dominance, and to visually lower the tall house to the side of it, always an irritant that it sticks up so high!

Jerry, thank you for creating this incredible enclosure for us! You never fail to amaze me with you creativity, your ability to incorporate others' ideas and dreams, and your low-key nature. We had the dirt delivered this past weekend, picked out the grapes and raspberries, have selected our stepping stones for the pathway to the enclosure, as well as through it. We will send more pictures as the project continues. I still want you do some more work around the house for us; I've got some ideas and you are always game. As a note, the enclosure just adds to the promise of the house and yard as one drives up to it. It leads the eye. I noticed the other day, the arches on the enclosure are the same as the arches in our windows. That is way cool! THANK YOU, KIND SIR! Will talk to you soon! Sandra ;)

Artist Reply: I always like to do what I think won't get done without me. I knew this would have been different if someone else made it and I knew it shouldn't be. Thanks for allowing my vision to be! Jerry
