Pelican

Pelicans are waterbirds known by their size and behavour. They can be 28 pounds of weight and 1,80 meter big. Their wings spread is up to 3 meters. They can reach an age of 35 years. Pelicans are this way one of the bigest flying birds. We mostly see them around marine warfs where they clean and dry their feathers. They are only fish eating and with their wings flatter they roundup the fish and head them to low waters, where they use their beak as a bucket to catch them. They are very social and only hatch when they are at least with 8 in a group. In history they where symbol of sacrifying motherlove.Mother pelicans where shown there with their feathers piched out bleading at their breast.
