Spirit of Eden

My imagination takes me on marvellous adventures when I am submerged into my paints from head to toe. I travel the planes into the unknown and find myself surface only once the piece is complete. Little do I know where I travelled, though my memory of such place always seems to reflect in my creations. This one painting is special piece to me. I painted it especially for the upcoming Children’s Aid Society Fundraiser/Silent Auction, with hopes to raise big bucks with this piece only to donate 30% of my profits. It is held in my hometown on April 18th and I hope it’s a success. Original acrylic painted on studio stretched canvas. Dimensions: 41” x 46” (104.14cm x 116.84cm) The colour palette is something that comes to me in my vision especially when I’m doing abstract. I have however painted commission pieces using specific colour choices and surprisingly they turn out wonderful. Thank you for visiting my gallery.

What a rambunctiously joyful work. It is suggestive of the emergence of life from the sea coming forth to gain dominion over the Earth. The power is primordial in its nature.
