Pont Marie-Paris;A Glorious Bridge

One of my very favroite bridges in Paris, the Pont Marie. It has been photographed by thousands and painted by thousands more. I wanted to suggest the feel of the place, the mood and energy of it; I chose the fragmented color fo the flowing water for that. ALL IMAGES COPYRIGHT SUSI FRANCO 2009

I am actually working on a newer version of this painting; the one you see is several years old. When the new one is done, I'll be deleting this one and replacing it, interested to see if you like the new one better. :) Fondly, Susi
