I painted this large (2 ft. by 3 ft.) oil painting during a period when our Santa Monica Bay was clear skys and a breeze in the palm trees. This panorama is from Venice, CA to the Santa Monica pier and beyond to the Getty Museum and the Santa Monica mountains. For a while this image was used in promotions for one of our environmental organizations: Heal The Bay. One of my "trademarks" in my detailed paintings is to hide my face.
