Here is one of the first posting for a new series in Mask from various cultures are mask used back in the day and some still used today in various ceremonies around the world. This one is of the Fire God of the Aztec called Xiuhtecuhtli. The original was done in turquoise.... and here there are some changes to the mask using emerald, and red jade as well as some green jade. Flames added to honor the fire god.
