The Chariot horses of the Greek war god Ares, Phobos and Deimos were the fleet footed harbingers of Fear and Dread. Most greek websites state that Deimos actually means Panic--This is not true. Phobos was named for spreading Fear (or Phobias), and Deimos actually means Dread ( as the words Panic, Pandemonium, and related terms originate from the Greek Satyr, Pan). image here is rendered in pencil on 11"x14", 50# Bumblebee art paper, then pen and inked.
