Light of Forgiveness

Photos taken at Slichot time- FORGIVENESS time... at a local synagogue .
The ability to forgive, or to be able to ask for forgiveness is very important and unique one, in all kinds of relationships.
Don't live with anger inside yourself, release it by forgiveness to yourself and to others.
If by any chance, I hurt any of you, my friends ... I ask here and now for your forgiveness.
Evening of Yom Kippur today. " Yom Kippur , also known in English as the Day of Atonement, is the most solemn and important of the Jewish holidays. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews the world over traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. - " Wikipedia Encyclopedia.

Forgiveness is indeed vital in our relationships, for none of us is perfect. I, in reading the Bible, have noticed that the Hebrew and Christian sections both have the common theme of forgiveness running through them.

Precious Nira Dabush.... and please be so kind to forgive me and my family, if we by any means have offended you....................* Your complete lack of response can mean several other things, besides being offended... Perhaps you have loads of laundry every day, or you have extensive dentist appointments, or a different perspective in geography, culture and life. With all due respect, Nira, I hope to see the Holy land very soon... as well as some of these places you have shared... Mea Shearim?

Artist Reply: Dear Hector Rios hello... First.. I'm not at all angry of you, so there's nothing to forgive. While reading your comments, I wasn't so sure what do you mean by : "Your complete lack of response" .. :-) What are you talking about, can you please explain to me.. Comments ?.................** ? Since I'm on AW site more then 4 years, on my art watch over 120 artists... I got to know here thousands of people, at least... I formed myself my way in commenting, which must be fair enough to myself, my LIFE, my family, my art.. my house works etc. There is no way, that someone will comment my art, and I will not visit him/her portfolio, my dear friend. I'm not doing free commenting, since, I must sleep also, eat etc :-)... If you are an active member here, you know AW, is a very demanding site. So... please forgive me, that, I can't comment, each image you post. My priorities in commenting is first to those comment regularly to my art, then...... Of course, Hector,I don't expect you to comment each of my posts here. I will say something more to you, my dear friend , personally I had problems in AW mails and art watch for quite some time, during that time... I knew only the comments I'm getting to latest images, by simply checking the last 3 posts of mine.. I hope i didn;t miss something of yours. So... I hope to sEE you more at my portfolio, that way, I visit you more... We all are so busy, Hector... mountains of laundries indeed waits for me, each day. When are you coming to Israel, if I may ask ?... The place in the photo is not mea she'aarim, I don't believe I could really take photos there. This photo was taken in my town, Ramat - hasharon... Non religious kids from my son's school, at 4:50 a.m... just to show them once tradition. kindest regards. Nira.

Important and unique day indeed ... in our routine life we don't always think of forgiveness and don't always realize its importance for ourselves . FORGIVENESS TIME gives people a chance to think about it, forgive and be forgiven. Thanks for sharing this with us dear Nira.

Artist Reply: Dear Izabella.. I so much agree with you. But I think we must realize FORGIVENESS always.. at least try to.. it's a better way, to be able to forgive. But I agree many people forget to do so.. or even aren't be able to do so.Thanks so much... kindest regards.

We are all the same coming from the same source, life could be easy if we understand that all is IN us. If somebody is hurt, that person has once hurted self somebody. All is coming back to you, the good and the bad. Forgiveness to yourself and to an other is indeed very important. Great item you showed us today Nira!

Artist Reply: Indeed we are the same with difference of beliefs. I agree about this : " Forgiveness to yourself and to an other is indeed very important "... Indeed !! Thanks so much.. kindest regards, Nira

OUTSTANDING AND AWESOME, NIRA. YOU ARE SO VERY VERY RIGHT ABOUT WHAT YOU WRITE HERE ABOUT FORGIVENESS. BEING ANGRY AND NOT FORGIVING ANOTHER JUST EATS AT AND HARMS THE PERSON WHO IS ANGRY. YES!!!! MAGNIFICENT IMAGES AND WORDS.

Artist Reply: Yes.. Sharon, one should release his/her anger.. anger does not lead to anywhere. Forgiveness can lead to new starts and peace inside. Thanks for the visit here, kindest regards.
