Photos taken at Slichot time- FORGIVENESS time... at a local synagogue .
The ability to forgive, or to be able to ask for forgiveness is very important and unique one, in all kinds of relationships.
Don't live with anger inside yourself, release it by forgiveness to yourself and to others.
If by any chance, I hurt any of you, my friends ... I ask here and now for your forgiveness.
Evening of Yom Kippur today.
" Yom Kippur , also known in English as the Day of Atonement, is the most solemn and important of the Jewish holidays. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews the world over traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. - " Wikipedia Encyclopedia.

Forgiveness is indeed vital in our relationships, for none of us is perfect. I, in reading the Bible, have noticed that the Hebrew and Christian sections both have the common theme of forgiveness running through them.geoff cooper 11 Oct 2008

Precious Nira Dabush.... and please be so kind to forgive me and my family, if we by any means have offended you....................* Your complete lack of response can mean several other things, besides being offended... Perhaps you have loads of laundry every day, or you have extensive dentist appointments, or a different perspective in geography, culture and life. With all due respect, Nira, I hope to see the Holy land very soon... as well as some of these places you have shared... Mea Shearim?Annette Labedzki 08 Oct 2008

Important and unique day indeed ... in our routine life we don't always think of forgiveness and don't always realize its importance for ourselves . FORGIVENESS TIME gives people a chance to think about it, forgive and be forgiven. Thanks for sharing this with us dear Nira.annette steens 08 Oct 2008
We are all the same coming from the same source, life could be easy if we understand that all is IN us. If somebody is hurt, that person has once hurted self somebody. All is coming back to you, the good and the bad. Forgiveness to yourself and to an other is indeed very important. Great item you showed us today Nira!Sharon Gonzalez 08 Oct 2008
OUTSTANDING AND AWESOME, NIRA. YOU ARE SO VERY VERY RIGHT ABOUT WHAT YOU WRITE HERE ABOUT FORGIVENESS. BEING ANGRY AND NOT FORGIVING ANOTHER JUST EATS AT AND HARMS THE PERSON WHO IS ANGRY. YES!!!! MAGNIFICENT IMAGES AND WORDS.
