This photo was taken today from my Mums back Garden,This Water Tower was erected in the late 1940's.and I've seen this for years and Years,it's not untill you have taken a photo of it that you see what a great structure it really is.I remember that in 1972,it was struck by lightening and the side of this water tower 'split' open and thousands and thousands of gallons of water came gushing out an flooded the area,It can be seen for miles around.
