Catch a Fire

Acrylic on 180lb. acid-free 100% rag paper, vacuum mounted to foam-core. 30×33 inches (76×84 cm.) One day in 1984, the US DEA used helicopter gunships to drop napalm on all of the ganja fields in Jamaica. The Rasta men retaliated by setting fire to all of the sugar cane fields. This is what the sky over the Caribbean looked like that afternoon.
