is this done in oils? it is very beautiful... i like the blown up image of the eyes below, it eliminated my question of "what it is painted on?" and replaced it with "I love the texture of the canvas coming through!". Also, i really enjoy your expressionistic brush strokes.... the image looks very precise, yet the strokes are not... its very nice :)

One of the most difficult subject to draw/paint. Usually the painting is not "alive", I mean, the cats look like made of porcelain because most of times the kitties aren't expressive. You made a miracle here.
