This is a small mural that I created for the Warwick Hotel in New York back in 1997. There is a small round vestibule at the side entrace to the hotel. I painted this image on a piece of canvas that was glued to the round surface of the wall. The crest at the top of the archway is the same crest that is carved in the stone above the entrance to the hotel. The mural stayed up for about two years, but was eventually replaced by a doorway.
