Illustration of an Striga - a shapeshifting Witch from Istrian tales (Croatia). Some village women can be born inside the placenta, with unnatural powers of doing evil. Over day they are ordinary women, but over night they turn into a furious witches. They can shapeshift into many animal forms: cat, goat, pig, frog, butterfly... This is also a part of a LegendFest concept illustrations for a Festival poster, as well as standalone illustration. Started as pencil sketch, painted in PS.
