This piece is one that a lady I've known for a long time asked me to make. She said that I've known her and her husband and to do something for them. I've known them through hanging with their daughter whom along with 3 other siblings put some strain on the relationship in those teen years-shewwee. So these soulmates had to part to get things in order and the time they spent apart I believe only made them stronger and made them want it to work even more. They are a great couple with a lot of compassion and heart. They love unconditionally and truly deserve eachother. They have worked so hard and the oddest of hours and circumstances and now they have finally gotten to a point to be able to enjoy life and eachother. They bought a piece of property to retire to and so I put them embracing at the bottom of a pathway representing the journey of where they have been and where they are going. I carved their initials in the tree at the top of the hill and put 4 birds in representing their children whom have now spread their own wings to fly. Denise and Chuck I hope that you love your piece and that it represents to you what I see. Two patient people of whom I couldn't be more proud to know. The title is from a song by Chantel Kriveizak(I can't remember how to spell her last name, sorry)called "It feels like home to me" but, the song is about when they are together no matter where they are it feels like home to her...it's from the movie "How to lose a guy in ten days" great song...Much love.
