Barrel Jumping Palmer Park ca. 1956 Day 6

At this point the trees are in and the background is set and I will then go back and fine tune the various elements of the painting to balance it to the foreground. Then I will apply a very light blue gray wash to the snow first in the shaded areas and then to the highlighted areas. I plan to leave the left side of the lighthouse completely white to use the contrast to the background to anchor the composition. When I am finished, I will upload the painting both in the Birth of a Painting gallery and the Miniature gallery.
