Barrel Jumping Palmer Park ca. 1956 Day 5

At this point I have filled in the high branches and began picking certain tree trunks in the background from which I am lifting pigment to get a random Pattern of tree trunks for the purpose of creating depth. I have used flat water color acrylic brushes and a number 2 found liner brush and a whole lot of dry brushing. I test my strokes on a part of the painting that can be obscured by painting over it. All of the branches can have pigment lifted later and may best be saved for the very last steps. I also adjusted some of the lines on the lighthouse because I noticed that some of the alignments didn't seem to be off until I started to block in the color, and then it be came clear that corrections needed to be made.
