Artist Reply: I am in awe of these storms. I know how dangerous they are so I keep my distance. I heard a story of a relative of mine from over 100 years ago that had her lace up boots knocked off her feet by a charge of lightning that passed through her body. She survived, but she was never the same after that. It did a lot of damage.
