This kind of drawing is unplanned and begins with a dot, somewhere on the paper. I usually have NO idea what wants to come through, I just get out of the way and let my hand be guided. Eventually, forms and faces and symbols and objects and landscapes/environments make themselves known. This kind of drawing is deeply meditative, usually enlightening, sometimes mysterious ~ with the purpose of the piece completely obscured until some later date.
