Another piece from last fall: this one sold in November's show at the Sawnee Artists Gallery in Cumming, Georgia. It's one done in the style of my florals from about four or five years ago: fresh, traditional, many-layered treatments of garden scenes, sentimental and unabashedly happy. I love florals and a good painting of flowers, especially when they are in a sunny setting lifts my spirits. To me, no other explanation of my floral art is needed. Mom's roses are always wonderful inspiration, and these were either "Frontier Twirl" or "Serendipity", I can't remember which. I do accept floral commissions, both in watercolor and oil, and in many sizes. My prices are reasonable; feel free to send me a note to inquire. As any artist does, I retain the copyright and all reproduction rights on this and any image. Please do not reproduce or distribute this image in any way. Thanks for looking and for being a supporter of the arts!
