Tarja Turunen

Midnight Dreamer Studio This is a portrait of my most revered singer, Tarja Turunen....she is an amazing vocalist, she sang with my favorite band Nightwish from 1996 to 2005 (I am not overly fond of their new singer) Now Tarja has gone on to her own solo career and is doing fantastic with her new album 'My Winter Storm', her voice is so beautiful. She lives in Finland and is highly revered there, and was asked to sing their independence day songs by their president :) I hope you like this portrait :) here is a music video for you :)

Well, Leah, you know this portrait is a double one. This is exactly the portrait of Juna Davitashvily -superextrasense, President of the International Academy of Alternative Sciences. (See Internet.)Thanks for the nice clip - very mooving - really, great singer she is. SASHA

this one right here , paint it i can see a very intesnse shadow with pastels . great drawing if you have a backup drawing or another take on this drawing add some intense colors to this like a red , violet background with some of that reflecting in the face. don't do it to this one though because the drawing is too good but if you can render another sketch and then paint it and go bold then that would be awesome. great drawing though , i like the style you used and the detail in the eyes is intense . outstanding drawing

Artist Reply: I have heard she is very arrogant, thats why they pushed her out of the band, but I still love her voice : ) I just never want to meet her in person it would ruin it for me hehe...thank you for stopping by my portfolio!
