The layers and layers of color and shape, density and translucence, hard and soft of nature so well captured in this photograph is a major inspiration that began my work in collage which is a medium that lends itself to translation of these elements in nature to abstract compositions which I address. You have a great eye for composition in the natural world. This tree has a wonderfully sensual aura about it with the hard and rough bark draped and caressed by the greens throughout the branches. The trunk male the lace of leaves against sky is she. Once again Phil I say that I really admire your photographic works of this quality.
