In The Barber's Chair

This silver, red, and black gel pen ink, with added pencil strokes drawing, was referred to from an image that is being seen to promote the new Sweeney Todd Movie. It is not to be an accurate drawing of Johnny Depp. I hope to do that later. I would also like it to be known that I am not glorifying a murderer from legend or his deeds. Just, the art that has been developed from the movie.

I am amazed at the clarity of your drawings. Wish I could do that. However, I have been unable to locate the drawing you wanted me to see, you have so much in there and all great stuff.

Love it...... amazing.

Artist Reply: Penny, your comment is so gracious. Thank you, more than ever, because I have to admit, I was in a dark disposition when I did it, though not as dark as the subject!!!!

This is awesome, Carliss. I REALLY like the dramaticstrokes and the addition of the crimson REALLY ADDS a LOT to the mood. GREAT ART!!

Artist Reply: Janet, I was really in this dark mood when I drew it, so I thank you for your interest in commenting on the style that I did it in!!!!!
